Design a potted plant
Which one will grow healthily?
Create your own colorful flower pot design using felt, ribbons, and buttons.
The flowerpots will be filled with succulents from TOKIIRO, which has an atelier in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture.
Make two potted plants and place them in different locations when you get home.
How will each one grow? Try observing the differences in their growth.
This is a perfect event for summer vacation independent study.

*You can choose from two flowerpot colors: blue, pink, and green.

TOKIIRO's Yoshinobu Kondo
While searching for his purpose in life, he came across the succulent plant creations of the late Shingo Yagyu in 2008. In 2009, he started Tokiiro, a company that mainly uses succulents to create living worlds in vessels (spaces) as if painting pictures. In order to expand his activities globally, he changed the name of his shop from kanji to the Roman alphabet, TOKIIRO.
In May 2012, she published a book entitled "Living with Succulents: A Plant-Based Lifestyle Connected to the Future" (Shufunotomosha), which contains information she would like to pass on to future generations of children.

Make a bear-designed airvase
Introducing the "airvase" with an original design featuring Familiar's bear. The circular paper has fine cuts, and when unfolded, it can be transformed into a variety of shapes, from a flat plate to a long, narrow vase. Feel free to draw pictures on it as if it were drawing paper, or paint it with your favorite colors. It can also be used as an interior item, such as a small item holder or a decorative vase.
About airvase:
This is a collaborative project with Torafu Architects. Since releasing "airvase" Yellow x Blue in 2010, they have continued to release numerous series, artist collaborations, and corporate collaborations. They have also been involved in many "airvase" workshops and installations.
