Support for balancing work and childcare
Initiatives for working expectant mothers and fathers
Familiar believes that the first 1000 days from conception until your baby's second birthday are an important period for your baby's development, and provides content to support their growth during those 1000 days.
One of these events, "Pre-mom Festival -for the first 1000 days-," is an event aimed at helping mothers enjoy life as a new mother. It includes hands-on events such as a maternity seminar where you can learn about caring for a baby.
For the next Pre-Mom Festival in November, the experiential event at the Kobe main store will be extended from the previous two days on the weekend to three days, including weekdays, to allow more working mothers and fathers to attend.

Creating a creative learning environment for children
"KIDS LABO" - A learning space that fosters creativity and expressiveness
At our Kobe main store, we operate "KIDS LABO," a place for children to learn about the environment from the time they graduate from 1000days until they start school.
We regularly hold programs that foster creativity and expressiveness through experiences with "things," "experiences," and "learning."
Holding a workshop using thinned wood from Kobe's Satoyama
Thinning is one of the efforts to preserve Kobe's Satoyama in beauty for future generations.
In May 2022, we held a workshop at our Kobe main store to create clocks using thinned wood, hoping that children would come into contact with real natural wood and think about nature.
We held a workshop (Familia) where participants could enjoy making their own unique bird calls using thinned wood from Kobe's Satoyama woodlands, and a workshop (Pampers) where participants could learn native English using a bird-themed theme in connection with bird calls.
Taking advantage of the favorable environment that Kobe offers, we will continue to strengthen our efforts to provide children with opportunities to come into contact with the "real thing" by learning from engineers and professionals with the unique skills of each company, and to spark a wide range of interests and curiosity.

The design combines a tricolor-based check pattern and a polka dot pattern, making it perfect for coordinating with your clothes.
You can use it like bloomers and it will enhance your sense of fashion.
