Birthdays are always a happy occasion no matter how old you are, but a first birthday is the first birthday of your life. Why not decorate your room cutely with garlands and balloons? Garlands are easy to make yourself, or you can buy them at various stores. Decorating with balloons also creates a party atmosphere. We also recommend sticking your baby's name, birthday, the number "1", or favorite items on the wall to create a photo spot.

We were very excited about his first birthday! We planned the decorations and menu a month in advance, and chose his clothes and presents for the day...it was a lot of fun. We also invited his grandparents from both sides to celebrate, and he looked like he had a lot of fun! We celebrated during a time that avoided his nap time or when he might be in a bad mood, so we were able to take lots of great photos.
He's made a lot of progress with solid food, so I made a cute birthday plate with all his favorite foods. I also made a cake using bread and yogurt, and he was so happy that he ate it with his hands. I invited my parents to celebrate, and they were so happy to see him eating from the tableware set that they had given me when I was born.
