The apple topping is decorative and tastes like a real apple.
The contrast in colour of the cross section is vibrant, creating a unique world view.
The apple jelly portion is made with plenty of diced apples to give it an apple-like texture. The mousse portion is made with a yogurt-flavored mousse that is easy for children to eat. Apple puree is also used inside the mousse.
