Half Birthday

Once your baby is born, has been taken to the shrine for a visit, and has been given the first meal, it's time for their half-birthday! Celebrate half of your baby's first birthday, or six months after birth, as a milestone in their development. It's also a great opportunity to look back on family memories from the first six months of their life.

At six months old, your baby's facial expressions become more expressive and they are able to do many more things. You'll want to take lots of adorable photos of them. Why not decorate their room with cute garlands and balloons? If you have a photo spot in your home, it will be easy to take commemorative photos with mom, dad, and any grandparents who have come to celebrate. We also recommend including your baby's name and birthday as part of the decorations and hanging them on the wall.
