Aiwa Hospital, which handles approximately 2,800 births per year, and the Aiwa Group have established a system that provides total care, with a focus on childbirth, from the early stages of pregnancy through childbirth and postpartum child-rearing.
In 2017, we opened the Paternity Maternity House, Japan's first facility where postpartum mothers and fathers can stay together, relax, and learn about child-rearing from midwives and childcare workers.
We are also working to create an environment where fathers can actively participate in child-rearing.
We live in harmony with the local community, with some families having given birth for three generations in a row, and on April 5, 2019, in the 46th year since opening, we celebrated the birth of our 80,000th baby. We will continue to create new value, aiming to realize a society where women and families raising children can thrive.
