At Familia, we believe that "food education" is a form of interaction and communication with children.
At Color of Time, we aim to provide a moment where families can gather around a meal, smile, and have lively conversation.
We offer dishes made with seasonal ingredients, mainly organic vegetables, so that pregnant women and children can eat them with peace of mind.

Many of the dishes on the menu are cooked simply in a wood-fired oven, bringing out the natural flavor of the ingredients.
We also offer porridge made with organic rice, which can be enjoyed by babies who are still on weaning food.

Menu Direction

Yoshihiro Imai

Chef Yoshihiro Imai is assisting us in menu direction to deliver Familia's vision. He was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1982. After working as a chef at Emboca Kyoto, he published the food photography book "CIRCLE." He then traveled and cooked as a freelance chef. At the end of 2015, he opened "monk" on the Philosopher's Path in Kyoto.

Located on the Philosopher's Path in Kyoto, this restaurant offers a set menu of pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven and seasonal ingredients grilled or broiled.

A message from Chef Imai <br>If only diners, farmers, and chefs could all unite and look toward the same future. That has been my dream since I entered this world. I am also a father of two children, and I am constantly thinking about what I can leave behind for my children. When I met Familia, I learned that they are pursuing ideals here in Kobe similar to those seen in places like Berkeley in Northern California, and so I decided to work with them. I am very much looking forward to sharing wonderful times with everyone through the medium of food.
