This collaboration has been realized with Yamato, a brand that continues to propose new ideas for kimonos, based on the philosophy of "changing the common sense of kimonos and Japanese culture."

Based on the concept of "a new form of kimono that can be worn like clothing," clothing and miscellaneous goods will be available that are made from Katakai cotton woven in Katakai-cho, Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture.
There is a new element to the designs that are unique to kimonos, and you can enjoy these items that are comfortable and casual to wear when paired with T-shirts and jeans.

Katakai cotton is a traditional fabric whose manufacturing process has remained almost unchanged since the 1940s. It is characterized by the uneven surface texture that is created by weaving three different thicknesses of thread together as the warp threads.
By reducing the area that comes into contact with the skin, it has a non-sticky feel. With use, it has the property of returning to its original cotton form, resulting in a soft, warm, and gentle texture.
